Violent or Abusive Patients

Important message

We wish to make it absolutely clear to patients that violence and aggression against any of the staff at the surgery is unacceptable which may result in police involvement and potentially removal from the practice list.

Unfortunately, it has become evident that some members of staff are receiving verbal, aggressive and intimidating comments over the telephone and at our reception desk.

The practice does not tolerate this kind of behaviour and further action may be taken.

We do appreciate that these are very busy and difficult times for our patients but we can assure you that our staff are working extremely hard to help you in any way that they can.
